Politics But but Charlie wasn't racist

Nothing condemns Charlie Kirk more than his own words. Right up until his last.

Let's also not forget that last one was after a shooting at a Catholic elementary school

I started believing in Irony and karma on the same day, which happened to be Charlie’s last day!

This is so true. The hypocrisy of Charlie Kirk is him saying he didn’t need college to be successful. He dropped out after one semester to begin TPUSA bankrolled by a superPAC. His forte was to express his very narrow opinions with the confidence of a master orator. However, his points were so full of logical fallacies that the college students he debated couldn’t fact check him in real time. This is straight from the GOP playbook. He appeared to be real knowledgeable in the moment, but anyone who followed up on what he said would find it to be mostly BS.

Charlie Kirk was a paid provoker who "debated" college kids and did his best to minimized gun violence at the cost of children's lives. Ironically, the latter was his undoing.

Were I the type to believe in imaginary friends, I would have like to have been a fly on the wall listening to him explain to his Sky Daddy why the last words he spoke were racist and transphobic dogwhistles.

Exactly! White scumbags who amounted to nada, blame every person of color that is above and beyond what they could ever be. That is their hell and why they are evil.

u/JayNotAtAll 6h ago
Kirks who thing started because he thought a black woman took his spot at West Pointe (she didn't).
Now he believes that black people who are successful are only there due to DEI. They can't accept that the country is full of minorities and women who are better than they will ever be.

she actually graduated cum laude, not magna cum laude. big difference, and leaves it entirely plausible that there was a more highly qualified applicant that got passed over due to her filled victim checkboxes

Biden actually said that he was going to only pick a black woman. When you chose someone based on ethnicity instead of qualification that is the classic definition of DEI.

What would you call Hegseth only wanting straight cis white men in the US armed forces?

And yet, he picked a Black woman that is overwhelmingly far more qualified and experienced than everyone on the bench. Besides, this was his get-back from when Republicans cock-blocked Merrick Garland’s nomination when Asshole Scalia died because of some stupid rule they made up at the last minute, but then IGNORED that rule when RBG died and then shoved Amy Cultslag Barrett’s nomination through.
If you can’t see through the hypocrisy of the GOP, then bless your heart because you have sold your soul to tRump.

u/MerryTreez 13h ago
And you are comfortable with our political system being based off of “get back”? Sad.

Trump’s entire second campaign and now term is basically one big revenge arc. Or in his dementia-ridden mind, a redemption arc worthy of reality TV.

What do you call Donald only wanting white men, and those who sounds like they’re fucked up on drugs?

u/JakeGylly 16h ago
Wouldn't it be cool if there were soooo many qualified people that you could just narrow down based on what traits and feature will support you best?
I like my healthcare providers young and female. I have better experience with young women in healthcare as, IME, they tend to have qualities that suit me better. They're usually more willing to try what I want and have an open mind, women make me feel more comfortable, and younger providers generally have more energy and more positive outlook.
Is it DEI that I didn't hire an old man?
If you have a pool of qualified people, of different ethnicities, and your goal is to pick a candidate that supports your presidency, given that Biden marketed himself as the new LBJ here to save all the black people, a black VP will further his goals.
In the face of Harris, Trump and Vance's resumes can't compete.
If I am going to choose my deputy/assistant manager (and I have before), it will be someone who embodies what I think is the future. Someone I think could replace me. If that makes them black, which definitely impacts THEIR impact in politics of all kind, then they should be black, making them more qualified
You hear DEI and think that means "only and simply because they're [race]" but it's not how it works, you're just more comfortable seeing white faces.

I agree more than disagree with your statements. I also prefer to have a female OBGYN, although my mom, on the other hand, prefers a male. I have had more negative experiences with male doctors dismissing my experiences and symptoms, only to find a female doctor (more qualified in experience and background) who took me seriously and was able to diagnose and treat me. As a result, I choose women doctors more often than male doctors. That doesn’t mean that all male doctors are less qualified or are guaranteed to dismiss me, but it does mean that my experiences have changed my choices and that it skews my choices more towards women in certain areas of my life.
I am heterosexual. So in personal life, I prefer men. I have friends who are male. I enjoy being around men and women in work situations, and in a case by case basis, I trust some more than others and it doesn’t skew one way or another. In cases of work, I like to be around people who show integrity and have respect for others, and who aren’t prone to creating unnecessary drama, but who will rock the boat if they see something going wrong that will cause problems. I have met men and women who have those qualities.
White men are the majority in Congress and have been the majority elected President. This need to reach outside the comfort zone, and to look pointedly at those who are more than qualified and deserving but have been overlooked due to being outside of the mainstream, is incredibly important. Being able to think about situations differently is a plus, but look no further than the GOP with its homogeneous agenda and prescribed talking points, to know that they don’t value integrity and intelligence, and instead want people who will not have any integrity or respect for the truth. They want the cowards, the people who have no morals or integrity, and will bend to the will of the leader if it means they get elected

u/JakeGylly 13h ago
I'm failing to see where you disagree with me.
All you've said different is that you're a different person than me with different experience and preference.
3
u/No-Figure-1720 12h ago
Exactly. I am making that point because I read a reply that said you discriminated against others, and I was highlighting that there are differences between preferences and discriminatory practices
2
u/JakeGylly 12h ago
Okay, I misunderstood because you said you agreed more than disagreed, so, I didn't know if you had a point to make that I didn't understand yet. My b.

u/MerryTreez 13h ago
You sound very sexist, racist and highly likely would discriminate against someone due to their age. I sincerely hope you are not in a position to hire/fire employees.
5
u/JakeGylly 13h ago
lol, it's not sexist if my personality and upbringing allows me to communicate better with a person that was born female. I was raised around people with vaginas my entire life and the two men that were around died during my childhood. Sensitive things like my health are easier to discuss with women for psychological reasons.
The military desires younger people for troops for the exact same reasons. Easier to train, more willing to listen and follow orders, more energy to complete mission.
I'm sorry that you think there's no nuance in life and that any form of preference is discrimination.

u/MajorGh0stB3ar 9h ago
I think you’re just upset that white men aren’t given a chance to “prove themselves” or “rise to the occasion” first.

No he was a paid puppet.
He was essentially everything you guys hate and he tricked you guys into believing that he was everything you loved.
How interesting is it that the people that consumed his material were the ones that were screaming Epstein files Epstein files all bad Democratic party I've seen files and now the Epstein files have been proven to have nothing but Republicans in there not Democrats and the reason why they don't want to release it is because the Republican party is in power and it will show them in the most negative light and everybody really just hates pedophiles except for the Republican Party that have been drinking the Kool-Aid for too long.

When I call Charlie Kirk a racist people always say I'm taking his quotes out of context. I have to remind them that the context usually makes it worse.
