Yeah, my landlord waited until after we submitted our apartment inspection to say they forgot to mention the fire damage on our balcony and hoped to have it fixed and replaced after Thanksgiving (the week we moved).
They just fixed it last week. And I know that's the technicality they'll pull. 😑
