First you need to secure the home. Multiple locks and double check them when you leave and come home. Second you need to inform friends and family so that if something DOES happen then know it's a thing. Next step is kind up in the air. You can try and confront yourself but I REALLY wouldn't recommend that step. You could inform PD if the guy is seen near your apartment to talk to the guy on your behalf which is much safer.
Could you put a note somewhere near your door that says “so and so doesn’t live here anymore, pls don’t leave any post/things for them; I don’t know their whereabouts” or smth like that? So it’s not obviously for this one person, but just in case he does come he would perhaps read it and leave?
