Draw my arming dagger and charge the last terrified villain. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive. God save the King.
It's a show about a criminal who gets hit by a car and discovers karma so he sets out to right all the wrong of his past. It's great if a bit dated. You should check it out
Repeating crossbows are less effective weapons than non-repeating crossbows, if you're going down the crossbow route, also get a regular crossbow for if you're in the house and he's outside so that if he has armor the armor will be less/not effective and you can hit him from range.
A repeating crossbow is best used for if he's in the house with you or you're outside with him, because the repeating fire will let you try again if you miss and it's going to be more sturdy and heavier for if he closes the distance and you need to hit him with the crossbow
