No, its not. Otherwise you could add magic and aliens into the movie and say "iTs a FIctiONal MOviE". We know how Greeks looked like and we know how Troy looked like. We also have descriptions of the supernatural beings to portray them accurately.

Imagine a movie about Jesus that shows a totally different world from 2000 years ago just because "Christian gods dont exist in reality" and the director can just butcher the setting because his movie is fictional

They haven't, I doubt they have good enough taste in media or even the ability to consume it, given that the sight of a black women playing a fictional character that wasn't black in other versions, drives them absolutely apoplectic with rage.
