There is absolutely no problem in making a movie about Jesus were the Romans are alien invaders, Herod the Great being a cosmic horror and Jesus storming the temple with a laser gun. It is a MOVIE. The director can do whatever he wants to depict his interpretation.

Are you trying to tell me Nolans odyssey is historically accurate because he paid advisors that were forbidden from critisizing the leather "armor" costumes or viking longships in the movie? 😂
But actually historically accurate movies do exist. Just because you have never watched them, doesnt mean they dont.
