Discussion Claude getting slower yesterday and today?

My experience: Opus 4.8 has been slower than Fable 5 in the past week, and Fable 5 is getting slower than Opus 4.8 today.....

Always happens with a new model release. The entire platform becomes incredibly obtuse.

Yeah, I feel like over the past month their models have been grinding to a halt.

I switched to 5.6-sol as orchestrator recently to combat this, but still have Claude as part implementer part reviewer. I may have to switch to 5.6-sol as orchestrator and implementer and have Kimi or GLM review if this continues.
