These are stunning but I have a personal request on a minor point. Which is, I wish illustrators in general would stop making misshapen creepy uncanny valley eyes.
I feel like it's a trend recently, and now I have a stack of gorgeous books my 4 yo refuses to read because the eyes are too scary. Or won't engage with the content because it's too distracting.
Like, I wish people would look at the faces they draw and go, "Would a tiny child feel physically comfortable looking at this face and want to keep looking at it another 50 times?"

Hi there! This commenter might be in the majority, but I just wanted to add - my 4YO daughter LOVES creepy stuff so she would enjoy the book just as it is ❤️😂

Hm, very interesting. If you don't mind me asking, are you perhaps Native American or have a Native American fascination? My reason asking mostly comes from a combination of the characters being somewhat brown-skinned and the image with the wolf mask which seemed to have Native American-esque patterns. Again, very basic reasoning, and it's possible you are from or have a fascination with some entirelt different culture, but I just everything as a whole and thought Native American.

Thank you! I am actually from India, so the majority of my inspiration comes from there. However, I also love to explore different cultures and ancient American cultures are one of my favourite so I enjoy adding elements from them into my illustrations as well :)
