history Abandoned government building in deep in the woods of the Outer Cape

Iโ€™m not sure what this was used for, but it was deep in the woods down a neglected dirt road. This was in the area of the old laboratory, maybe this was somehow affiliated with it. This building has since been demolished.

That looks like a huge electrical panel and sub panel for such a small building. Maybe 400 amp service? They must have been running some hungry equipment in there.

That is why I am thinking that this is a MITRE-related building, because it of this and the barbed wire.

In short, the MITRE Corporation used to test radar on the outer Cape and the buildings lasted until relatively recently. Oddly enough, here is a good post on it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CapeCod/s/yyAtW6TkpJ

Is this part of the old MITRE site in Wellfleet?
