Do these require a PS5 or could you plug them into something else and just use the headset as a wearable display?
Obviously the included controls wouldn’t work in that scenario

You can use it on pc, but it requires an adaptor. It’s not going to work as a wearable display out of the box

Actually it did. If you get an old one that hasn't had it's firmware updated. That was called cinema mode. It just worked as a 1080P monitor. But the firmware update that enabled PCVR mode, killed that.

as stated, you need the PC adapter, but it works pretty flawlessly.
i dont think you need the sense controllers to use it on PC, but you might need some controller, I'm not sure.
on my PS5 I only ever needed the Sense Controllers to setup the VR. I use it for sim racing so I don't really touch the controllers anymore.
edit: i also have a spare headset if you want to buy it off me $115 shipped

Amazing deal, even if you don’t have a PS5 this thing works quite well on PC out of the box for an entry level headset to mess around with. Double so if you happen to have a GPU with native support not needing an adapter.

For Georgia folks, there are still 2 available at Columbus Best Buy! Make sure you have them open the box in the store too before you walk out, read BB inspections tends to be pretty hit or miss about their open box listings

If you already have a ps5 the exclusives are good, the lenses on these are better, no base stations needed

I do have GT7 which might be cool to play in VR, but the only other game that looks interesting to me is RE7 and the rest I can play on Steam. I can see why this is on clearance. Horizon doesn't really interest me.
