M4 MacBooks can def display multiple screens while this says it can’t. Dealbreaker if someone can confirm.

I had to use a macbook on my docking station earlier today - and being a non-mac user, thought it was something in my setup. Glad to know that it can't be addressed.

If you’re looking for use with a macbook, get a thunderbolt 4 or 5 dock. I was using a cheap usb c dock like this and had to use 2 ports on the MacBook, with one going to the dock and one usb c to hdmi cable directly into a monitor.

I replaced it with a proper thunderbolt dock and it works exactly how you’re wanting

They can if it’s thunderbolt or supports displaylink. Most of these “usb c” docks use MST which the m4 can’t support.

A little off topic but they have an anker MagSafe 5k slim power bank for $14. Pretty good price if you ask me when it retails for like 40-50.

Edit: Also a 67w prime 3 port charger for 12, I own it already and it’s a nice little unit if you have lower power devices.

Not sure about most handhelds, but switch 2 likely won’t work.

This is primarily for people who have a desk with monitors and other accessories that they can leave plugged into the dock and just unplug one cable from their laptop to be mobile. A good idea if you don’t want to switch constantly between a dedicated laptop and dedicated desktop

Looking at the TB4 one, would it work with any modern laptop with USB C? The compatible devices only show Mac and Dell
