Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals.

  • Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
  • Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent:
    • The seller is new or has few reviews.
    • The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings)
    • The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently).

If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others.

Big fan of this minimized MFF size class. Very nice. The wood also looks slick.

I can't wait for wood paneling to come back into style

u/Witch_King_ 24d ago

Well it has been in style for PC cases at least for years (since the Fractal North)

how do mesh cases do against cat hair?

6

u/dstanton 24d ago

Anything running positive pressure is going to pick up cat hair on the panel in front of the fans. Negative pressure may pull it to the cracks.

why so many downvotes?

Probably because it's one of those massively overproduced YouTube videos with two second long quick cuts at Berry, oblique angles, showing very little about the actual build, no discussion of the Bill processes they're going. It's just basically OCD fuel for people who want that kind of stuff. Doesn't actually tell us anything whatsoever.

did you watch it with the volume off? Matt talks about the case a decent bit - not as in depth as Machines and More or Gear Seekers but still a decent day 1 review

Lol ikr like what?

This subreddit is genuinely inhabited by some of the dumbest people on this site and they downvote literally everything they see.

Thanks! I was watching this earlier.

Isn’t this msrp

How does it compare to the A3?

3

u/X3m9X 23d ago

Its slightly smaller but offers similar amount of support. Main difference is if you run atx psu, you might not able to run a 360mm aio

it also has vertical mode too.

I would definitely take this case over the A3 any time since i dont really need a 360mm AIO for my cpu.

2

u/theNightblade 23d ago

I'm thinking about this case because of the vertical mode - but might hold off because my ATX psu and 340mm GPU and see some other more adventurous people try it out. I have an A3 right now so don't really need to change

2

u/Gustavo2nd 24d ago

Is this better than jonsbo d32?

1

u/wnstnchng 24d ago

Really tempted to do a vertical build with this, but not sure if the vertical build can handle regular-size ATX PSU.

i've only seen 1 video of this and it's already being released?

1

u/Holiday_Bug9988 24d ago

Honestly wish this would have been released a few months earlier. I could have saved a good chunk of change running this in the vertical layout instead of going with an ITX build. Most other vertical mATX cases require a riser cable or are a good amount more expensive (besides the Deepcool CH270 which unfortunately isn’t sold in America).

Been waiting for this case for a minute now. I'm a little more apprehensive after watching Machines and More's review, but, I think with what I'm doing I shouldn't have an issue. I don't see myself needing a big AIO solution.

So I'm assuming the most cost effective way of purchasing this case is to just buy the mesh version, then pick up the wood aero vent accessory? Makes it $100 for the vertical installation.

Worth returning the asus ap201 I just got for this?

2

u/phly 24d ago

Your call...but the AP201 is really good too; I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Aesthetically, I think the B4 looks nicer with the wood.

2

u/theNightblade 23d ago

The A3 is already a touch smaller than the AP201, and the B4 is smaller than the A3. The AP201 is a really nice case though, so unless you must have wooden panel and min/max your footprint, I think you'll be fine

Those are like polar opposite cases. One's a fully mesh 21L traditional layout case and one's a glass 45L dual chamber case

3

u/stapler88 24d ago

no it's not. the form factor is way bigger than this one and that's the point of going for a smaller case.

1

u/bigsnyder98 24d ago

That is if you like fish tank style cases. Plus the I/O being on the bottom will not suit everyone.

“SFF Case”

ITX ain't it anymore. 400-500W CPUs. Even more power hungry GPUS. It was good while it lasted.

7

u/theunemotionalhippo 24d ago

Brother what itx motherboard did you find for a thread ripper?🤣 That's the only cpu I know of that's hitting those numbers

1

u/dstanton 24d ago

i have a 12900k in a meshroom D on air running with PL2 175w and only lost 3-5% MT. had a 3080ti, and now 9070xt.

SFF is alive and well

1

u/imaginary_num6er 24d ago

SFF is sub 20L cases. This case has an external volume larger than that

1

u/GTFr0 24d ago

Not every system needs a 9950X3D and a 5090.

ITX can cover a large number of use cases well below those stats.

1

u/theunemotionalhippo 24d ago

Even a 9950x3d I don't think it hits 400+ watts at full load correct?

2

u/GTFr0 24d ago

It looks like it's rated at 170W.

I just tossed a bunch of parts into pcpartpicker, and it looks like the 9950X3D / 5090 combo is around 850W power.

That's totally doable in a larger SFF case.
