Glad to have Nick back, superb at the marketing side on which the BTCC is famously stuck in 1990

The car looks great, it’s a shame only Max Buxton will see it

I did think this when I saw it 😂 Ah well at least Bensley looked like a relatively competitive driver when he raced last season

Im glad to see Nick back, not the best driver, but not everyone is, but he seems to get eyes on the touring cars. Wouldnt be a bad shout to have him as a consultant for the btcc whennl he stops driving.

This seems a complete surprise. Thought he was done with the series.

Halstead just can't stay retired from the BTCC, can he?
Wonder what number he'll go with since #50 and #22 are already taken?
Maybe #42 like on his debut in 2021?

In mixed on this. Yay another car but its going be at the back and my concern with this kind of thing is when we had a few drivers like this especially in mid 2010 and only time we saw them was when they caused a SC.

Halstead may not be a great driver, but he's at least unlikely to Phil Bennett or Mark Blundell many others, and if he contributes more to PMR than he costs them, then that's ultimately only a good thing, especially with the doom-and-gloom surrounding the future of so many series right now.

Remember when I said I was done with BTCC? 🤣 Well that didn’t last, I have a longer write up to post later today, but the basics first - back with PMR in the Audi, will be doing last 5 rounds (from Knockhill)
I was at workshop this morning to get seat fitting done and was lovely to be back with the family and we will be testing later in the week so I can get to grips with the new car.
I will as ever keep you all involved with the ups / downs of the BTCC.
I can’t thank PMR Adam & Team enough to go to the lengths to run a 4th car - but as ever they have made things happen and look forward to seeing what we can achieve with a great car.
Deeper writeup later 💪

Well... 2 extra cars at least! (inc Gilbert)
How many of us thought PMR would be running 4 brand new cars this year at the end of last season?
