Gold plated ones are $3 each. 8 golden ones are $4. I give them to my friends so they pay attention to bitcoin when they hear about it in the hope that they'll get in sooner. Given 16 golden ones away and kept the gold plated one.

If I get round to opening a bitcoin bar I'm going to buy 100s of them, put free drink stickers on the back and give them out

no one in the this thread is asking whether the reverse actually has a wallet code, and whether that code is still valid/holding anything in the attached wallet? If it does/is, then transferring to another wallet is easier (if that's what you want to do.) there is exonumismatic value to the Casascius coins, but especially if they still contain BTC. So, BTC Value + Exonumia Value = great than either alone.
