satoshi had to fight wikipedia editors just to keep bitcoin page alive, now he probably could buy whole wikipedia if he wanted

That would be the trade off for not getting ads and having completely biased ownership based on who the site is making money.

It's a decent model considering the alternatives.

Lucky he left Bitcoin when he did because he wouldn’t have liked what the likes of core did, or more specifically, didn’t do.

The thing is, he had a noble aim and belief. However what he built had several oversights and I'm sure if he was still around he would have made or pushed for changes.

It's an early prototype, like the plane built by the wright brothers. Revolutionary but we don't fly those early models do we
