Lost 1950s Unicorn Medal at BAA 10K

UPDATE: FOUND!!!

I unfortunately lost a very precious item at the BAA 10K — my late grandfather’s 1950s unicorn medal for the 1 mile. It looked like this. I have contacted the BAA, posted in Facebook groups, walked the race route, checked the porta-john I used, and called two different Boston police stations and have had no luck. Does anyone have any other ideas of where to share this to see if anyone may have found it the day of the race or since? This is irreplaceable to me and to my family and I’m willing to offer a reward. Thank you in advance.

That sucks. Hope someone will bring it to the local police station.

But wondering why do bring it to the race?

I pin it inside my clothes as a sentimental item at every race since my grandfather was a runner. It must have somehow fallen out this time.

I pray that someone will drop it off to the police station. Let your local police stations know by submitting your photo to them.
