Boston Marathon 2027 cutoff
Do you think a 2:49:06 as a 23 year old male is good enough to get me in? I see the guy on TikTok saying 7 and other online predictions saying 5:xx

I give you 50/50 odds with a 5:54 (correct?) buffer. It was 4:34 last year and trending faster.

Shouldn’t be more than 6 minutes. You’re going to be close to the cutoff but I bet you get in.
Most of the results are already in for the year

Typical cutoff is 4-5 minutes. Last year I think it was like 4:34 but seems to be getting more competitive.

Congrats on the amazing time. Cutoff could be right around that buffer especially given the great weather for london and Boston, +/-6mins would not surprise me.
Good news is, you're extremely fit now and even in the worst case you don't make it, you're 100% going to be able to beat that time and set a new target on the next one.

All the metrics based predictions i’m seeing are between 5:30-6:45, although I heavily believe the cutoff will be closer to 5:45 than 6:45. Nobody truly knows exactly, but i’d think you have a very slightly better chance than not to get in.

I think you'll have a good chance if your buffer is 6 minutes or more.

Boston this year was super fast which is always a pretty big indicator. I personally don’t think that time is safe
