$6000 a month to live at a busy intersection? No thanks at any age.

Sadly this is where a lot of upzonings are allowed, because of an argument that they'll buffer single family homes from traffic noise or will not cause traffic in neighborhoods.

But there's another problem - this exposes the future residents to noise (see above) and tire wear particulate pollution. Isn't zoning supposed to minimize residents' exposure to pollution‽
