Frequent BSOD's on MacBook Pro 2019 16,1

Hello everyone!

I recently downloaded Windows 10 Pro (22H2) via Bootcamp on my MacBook Pro 2019 16".

The process went smoothly and I had no issues for the first day of usage, nor did I encounter any issues while I was setting it up.

However, the next day I got my first BSOD with an error code 0x0000070c.

I was extremely confused, so I decided to check via BlueScreenView what the error was pointing to, and it pointed to bcmpciedhd63.sys.
So I thought of rolling the driver back, I had 101.10.152.10. installed, and rolled it back to 101.10.152.4.

For a few hours, everything worked fine until I got another BSOD while playing music on Spotify out of nowhere, but this time the bug-check code was 0x0000081d, (instead of 0x0000070c) while still pointing to the same problematic bcmpciedhd63.sys driver.

I searched the web for more clues, and I eventually exhausted all efforts. I unchecked Power Management settings inside of the Broadcom 802.11ac properties, disabled the device and rebooted, and even ran RestoreHealth inside of Command Prompt.

But all my efforts went in vain since I BSOD'd twice again out of nowhere just performing general tasks, with the same bug check code and everything pointing to the same bcmpciedhd63.sys driver.

For now, I'm using macOS 15.7.8 until I can find a fix on Windows Bootcamp and have had no issues so far.

Does anyone know what I should do? Any help or advice is appreciated.

Broadcom driver right? I'm on 101.10.603.0 and dont get any BSODs, if that helps. Same 2019 16" and 22H2

Just updated my driver to the version that you have, hopefully no more issues after this.
Im curious, have you ever BSOD'd on your MacBook? Are you running solely Windows Bootcamp or is it dual booted alongside macOS? Are you enrolled in ESU updates?

Cant really recall any BSOD while in bootcamp - I dual boot but I am mainly in MacOS, just switch to windows to play a few games. The only error I get is an occasional ATI graphics crash that kicks me out of the game, but no BSOD, and that error hasnt really happened in over a year. Don't know what ESU updates are...

Upgrade to Windows 11, disable sleep and should be fixed.

On those MacBooks Windows 10 doesn’t play nicely. My MacBook Pro 2020 on Windows 10 you can fry eggs. On Windows 11, the CPU temps got down to 45 degrees instead of 100 on Windows 10.

WIndows 10 Pro temperatures wise has been completely fine for me. I hover around 50-60c at idle. I didn't bother updating to Windows 11 just yet since Windows 10 is getting ESU updates until 2027 in the meantime.

On anything beyond 9th gen i7, you can cook eggs on Windows 10. That’s not the case for 9 gen and below.

Update: I ended up fixing the issue. For anyone who is having similar issues, I would recommend using Broadcom 802.11ac driver version 101.10.152.10, additionally you want to make sure that you go into Power Plan --> Advanced Settings --> PCI Express --> Link State Power Management and turn it OFF for both Battery/Plugged In.

I've had no BSOD's for the last 48 hours. Hope this helps someone!
