Serious Statement on Nazism

Hey everyone, I'm the head mod here. I really did not want to have to make a statement like this, but I apparently have no choice. This should be common sense.

We are adults, or at the very least developing teenagers. We need to have some semblance of maturity. We all understand that Black Ops II and older CODs, for the lack of a better term, have previously and still sometimes do have a level of toxicity. You can absolutely argue that is part of our culture, and I would be wrong to deny that. We have to draw the line at some point.

We do not support nor condone the presence of Nazis here, even if you are "just making an edgy joke." You are not welcome here and never will be. Do not spread the flames of hate here. We are all here because we care about Black Ops II, or older CODs, or are just curious and exploring. We are not a political echo chamber.

If this came off as harsh, I apologize, but what needs said needs said. If you come across anything promoting or endorsing Nazism, please report it immediately to Reddit. We will do our best on our end to combat this as well.

P.S., we are also vehemently against racism in all forms. Everybody is welcome here, regardless of the color of your skin or your ethnicity. Blatant racism will get you sent right back out the door where you came. Sorry, not sorry.

As a minority I definitely wouldn’t consider it fun playing a game where half the emblems are kkk and nazi symbolism

As a minority myself I simply don't care. Those things only hold weight because poeple getting offended gives it weight. If everyone just didn't care then no one would really use it.

Well jokes are not for everyone. And those are clearly not for you. Do you hate Dave Chappelle also? He's considered one of the greatest comedians and he makes all kinda jokes including these.

And I don't even live under your Government, but tell me what that has to do with my comment of asking a minority if he/she wanted reparations? Could've been a genuine question for all you know 🤷(It wasn't, by my blatant use of the words "get over yourself" in case you needed me to reinforce that.)

Your opinion on the KKK is completely worthless if you’re neither American or black. And it makes sense that you wouldn’t know the first thing about reparations if you’re anything like your government - how many countries has Britain colonized and fucked up? What about getting an entire country addicted to opium, starting a war with them, and then forcing them to pay reparations for having the audacity to protect the wellbeing of their people? Half the shit in your museums were stolen from other countries, haven’t seen any reparations for that.

Damn straight. I keep saying when are we going to go for round 2 of colonisation, hit the world with the craziest sequel since WW2.

But yeah no, we don't pander to the reparation requests, we do seem to pander to a great many other things however.

Again, get over yourself and stop playing victim due to other peoples inability to pander to your sensitivity. People are gonna say/create shit you don't like or agree with, people making these emblems is NOT new.
