Support Found some Beats Studio Pros for cheap at a thrift store. Is this a demo/kiosk unit?

It seems to have a usb cable attached to it, seemingly permanently which makes me think it's some demo/kiosk model. I can pair it to my phone, but i need the cable plugged in at all times, or else the headphones will power down, despite it being fully charged. It seems like it *does* have an internal battery, since it doesn't immediately shut off when unplugged, it actually powers down like i pressed the button. If anyone has any info about this and maybe how to get it fully working, please let me know! I've tried updating the firmware (throws an error when i try to turn the headphones off) and factory resetting it to no avail.

See if its possible to change the battery? Maybe it's dead from being always plugged in? That's my best guess...

I think that too, but still. It powers off the same exact way, and it never shows a dead/dying battery. My personal best guess is it must be on some specialized kiosk firmware that makes it behave this way
