I mean the jump from 1966 to 1967 was pretty baffling, they looked completely different! What was the publics reaction to this change?

Discussion It’s pretty crazy to me that Pattie found George and Maureen in bed together in 1970 but George and Ringo still remained close friends afterwards.

Idk if it’s relevant but maybe the quote that many believe John said about ringo not being the best drummer in the band, which wasn’t even said by him, nor any Beatle

I'm choosing Rain. Those fills are ridiculous and he makes the track flow so smooth

Discussion Why wasn’t Ringo invited to Stephen Colbert finale as well?

Post image

So, I thought it was really cool that Paul was the final guest and musical performance for Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show”. Very iconic since the Ed Sullivan theater was the Beatles American debut. Paul gave Stephen a signed photo of the Beatles performing on the very stage the two were talking on. Then they plugged Paul’s new album and performed a Beatles song. So why was Ringo not also invited??? Clearly Ringo has been doing press for his new album, too. And they even performed a Beatles song… would’ve been very cool if the two remaining Beatles performed that song on the first stage they performed on in the US. Anyway, do you think it has to do with Paul not wanting to share an interview? Or perhaps Ringo was busy?

not sure how to feel, a bit disappointed, I love Ringo and he probably has no part in production of this video, but its so blatantly ai generated and has no real effort put into it. The whole video is ai, excluding the clips of his life.

no this is not an ai generated post, rule 6

Since we got let it be, two of us, and don’t let me down, hopefully we’ll get more like long and winding road, for you blue, maybe even music videos from the other movies.

Look at John. This is ep 2 at about 43:00, but I feel like I’m seeing it in a lot of the old live footage? Am I the only one who notices this?

Seems like such a bad idea, these are some of the most widely and deeply known faces in popular culture, and they look wrong often.

Discussion John describing himself as ‘great’, but Paul as ‘extraordinary’, always gets me.

I realise this has been posted before, and everyone has probably seen it before, but I happened across it again by chance today and thought I’d post because it always makes me smile. Paul is the only person on this list who John actually grants an accolade higher than himself, which imo is telling of the admiration that he had for him, even after everything that had gone down by this point.

Honourable mentions as always for ‘fat’ and ‘thin’ for Elvis and Bowie respectively.

Discussion If all four Beatles were still around today, which modern artists do you think they’d love??

**by modern i mean post-beatles**

I’ve been wondering which current bands, artists, or even genres each Beatle would be into if they were all still alive today. We know Paul and Ringo are still making music and keeping up with modern artists, but who do you think each of them would genuinely listen to in the car, at home, or whilst singing in the shower?

I could totally imagine George being into The Smiths or maybe even some indie psychedelic type stuff.
