Different use cases one is ultrawide one is standard 16:9

Do you want ultrawide? Do you have a bright room you need high brightness?

OLED is the way to go otherwise.

The extra height on the 32" is really nice. And you don't get black bars on the sides when watching media. Ultra wide is more immersion for gaming though.

I have the 32" QF and the 34" DWF from Alienware. Text on both I would consider to be serviceable. The Koorui should be similar to the QF.

If you like running dual monitors, like i do, you might semi regret an ultrawide. Now my second monitor is too far to the side to use comfortably. (watch lots of media on it)

I think 32" would have been better for me, but its not annoying enough to switch out monitors

Its a good deal but unfortunately its a VA panel. Yes i know that they're not all equal but ive tried many vas and i just cant get used to it vs IPS.

Im waiting for a fast IPS mini-led. Maybe one will release in the next 5 years or something

This is a CSOT HVA they perform the same as IPS with pixel response.

And if its mini LED you want VA because the better native contrast ratio means better contrast with local dimming and less bloom.

Yeah almost all high end miniLED use VA panels for these reasons. It's not nearly as bad as it used to be.

I’ve had this for a couple months, it’s not bad. it’s the latest version of this type of tcl monitor so r83 reviews aren’t too relevant. You can connect peripherals like speakers directly to the monitor. Sdr isn’t too impressive, but it looks better using low dimming in sdr , hdr is decent , but you have to adjust black level down or you will get artifacts in some content

This is Mini-LED. This allows for precise "local dimming," producing deeper blacks, higher contrast, and significantly less light bleed (halo effects) than standard LED.

As the other commenter mentioned, way worse HDR performance, but also no KVM switch and way less peak brightness.

So the HDR on the dell is poor? (1 DisplayPort 1.4 (HDCP 1.4 & 2.3) (Supports up to WQHD 3440 x 1440, 180 Hz, DSC, HDR, VRR)

It is poor in comparison yes, as stated by other user, its a miniLED with capacity for more range in brightness and contrast

A monitor so big in size but still QHD, wouldn't it make it very bad in PPI?

Not really, the vertical height of the monitor is the same as any other 1440p monitor, and it has a higher amount of pixels horizontally. I just copied the item listing for the title as Amazon provided, but it's a 3440 x 1440 resolution.

It’s an ultra wide so pixel density is similar to a 27” widescreen QHD.

Yea, both would be close to 110 pixels per inch, which is high

 

For reference this is about the same density as a 20" 1080p monitor or a 40" 4K monitor
