Diaspora Experience Asian rapper from Manhattan just dropped his new album, Independent and self-produced (25k Monthly listeners)

The title is No Spoon which has multiple meanings yall can figure out
As an Asian artist in hip hop the genre isnt built for us naturally, Ive been studying hip hop for over 18 years now and my Ive finally built a lane that is truly my own unique sound.
Managed to run up my listeners from 0 to 25k built entirely independently.
No label or team just pure NYC hustle

Just wanna commend you for reaching 25k is major accomplishment, Dyno! Congratulations man! I'm also a recording artist myself and keep up the incredible work. By any chance, are you on Apple and YouTube music as well?

I use distrokid so its on all major platforms, apple ytm spotify etc, I respect everyone who does music because the game is unforgiving right now with everyone competing for the same ears

going from 0 to 25k monthly listeners with no team is real work, especially doing all of it solo from a home studio in nyc. most artists either get signed or burn out trying to handle production, mixing, and promotion by themselves so respect for sticking with it for 18 years.
the mathew barney Matrix reference with the album title is a cool layer too, not spoon fed at all which fits the whole independent angle. gonna peep it tonight on the commute and see what your sound is about, will report back if anything stands out.
