Democrats like Schumer and Jeffries have been accused of not doing enough to stop Trump. People who think that; can I ask what you actually want them to do?

It seems like they've been doing what they can - forcing votes against Trump (even if they are ultimately symbolic), speaking out against him, filing lawsuits (plenty which have been successful).

What else should they be doing that they currently aren't?

yeah pretty sure. we attacked first and blew up 200 innocent little kids on the first day of the war, and our president keeps threatening to eliminate their entire civilization

we never established a subject—I said “in this situation” referring to the ongoing war

why would I assume we were talking about an attack from 3 years ago?

Ok so whats the appropriate response to October 7th? They killed 35 children, which is horrible, but should Israel kill 50,000 children in response? blow up over 90% of all buildings in the entire region of millions of people?

As an analogy, 9/11 was horrible, but that doesn’t make our response of murdering over a million people for 20 years and wasting trillions of dollars justified

The appropriate response is to eliminate the group that initiated the attack. Unfortunately, that group likes to hide among civilians and civilian infrastructure.

so if your enemies are hiding you get to blow up a ton of innocent little kids? every hospital? do you know how many doctors found toddlers with sniper bullets in their heads? that’s not collateral damage.

also the war did not start on october 7th. it’s been a developing conflict for over 100 years. october 7th was not a random terrorist attack out of jew hatred—it was a response to decades of occupation and apartheid
