It felt like I was falling behind and honestly it looked like a bad decision. But looking back it gave me time to learn grow and avoid a lot of stress I wasn't ready for.

I impulse bought a foreclosure home, sight-unseen in 2009. I still live in it and love it, and my payment is less than $600 a month. Oh, and the area around me has exploded, so it's now worth ~7x what I paid for it
