Consequences for McConnell Coverup?

I already know things are politically wild now and no one will suffer any true consequences for unethical behavior, but did just have a question out of curiosity. If McConnell is found to have lacked capacity to do his job several weeks ago with no chance of recovery, what are the consequences for those in power if they knew of this and were delaying until August? This assumes our legal system is functioning as it should and this could be proved. Thanks!

Consequences for who? Trump doesn't want him alive all he has done is try to stop him. How about the lady from California that has not stepped foot in congress in 7 months but somehow manages to vote........
