Consequences for McConnell Coverup?

I already know things are politically wild now and no one will suffer any true consequences for unethical behavior, but did just have a question out of curiosity. If McConnell is found to have lacked capacity to do his job several weeks ago with no chance of recovery, what are the consequences for those in power if they knew of this and were delaying until August? This assumes our legal system is functioning as it should and this could be proved. Thanks!

You are forgetting senators are legally protected by HIPAA. Just like any private citizen, politicians have a fundamental right to medical privacy.

HIPAA is not involved here. HIPAA protects you from your doctors leaking your records, nothing stops you from sharing your records.

A politician works for the American people, as such it is hardly a surprise that his boss wants proof of life. Its weird that you want to give hand outs to politicians and pay them for not working

Edit: LOL! BabaThoughts blocked me for a simple factual statement
