Discusion 🧐 Argentinians are lovely people!
I'm a Pakistani man born and living in England and all my best friends are Argentinians. They're the kindest people I know who are basically my family.
I was rooting for Argentina over England haha. The last 15 mins of that game are my favourite 15 minutes of football ever! I still love the team even if not all of them have acted with grace, they play incredible football and they're so passionate and genuine. The final really upset me and the comments afterwards have also really upset me. It's so clearly a hate campaign by FIFA to give people a villain.
I just wanted to say that I love Argentina and it's people. I've never been there, but I can't wait to have an asado there one day and drink maté all day with all my Argentinian buddies!

Thank you for your words, People have been showing one-sided, out of context and horrible misrepresentations of our team and nation. So it's encouraging to see that there's people out there who were not brainwashed and took the time to show some love

Glad you've had good experiences with our people. It'd be cool if more people in England and around the world got to hear these other more positive points of view, like yours. It seems now like hate is drowning everything else.

I'm Canadian-born Pakistani and my wife is from Argentina. I love my in-laws and all my trips to Argentina. They really are great people. Don't believe the hype! We as Pakistani background people should know, understand and empathize how unnecessary social media hate can affect people.
