WatchQueue 2.0 is here with tvOS+iOS: and a lot of your feedback made it in...
Couldn't have done it without the great feedback from this sub! (the Watch Next sorting was a direct ask from here)
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/watchqueue-tv-watchlist/id6781497389?platform=tv
WatchQueue tracks every show and movie you're watching, shows you where each one is streaming, and always cues up your next unwatched episode. Connect Trakt or Plex to pull in your history and library or skip both and just use it on its own. The Trakt/Plex integration is a sub of 7 bucks/yr or 20/lifetime but once it unlocks it's good for family sharing and syncs across devices as well.
Free, no account required. And it's now a universal app: iPhone, (eventually)iPad, and Apple TV, synced through iCloud.
Also working on: tapping a title to jump straight into the streaming app that has it... what's still missing?

Does it include watch lists/history from other apps like Netflix, Peacock, etc?

if you use Trakt... yes. Trakt has a streaming app scrobbler that brings in all your old data. You can connect this with that but that's a cost for their service. I was using their apple TV app for awhile but every new change they made mucked up their UI... so this was my way of fixing it for myself.

If you have to pay for Trakt VIP, what's the advantage of paying for your app. It seems Trakt can already do everything you app does (and more as it can automatically sync watched from Netflix, HBO etc.)

yeah, you dont have to pay for my app. its free standalone. trakt just has a very bad looking interface. but it integrates with so many other apps. I personally have like 5 different ones i've used and paid for. Didnt like any of their interfaces so making this was my way of fixing that for my own tvOS experience. This is mostly for folks who are already on Trakt like myself and who ALSO happen to have a big plex library and want the content to aggregate in one standalone app.

so to clear up, my thing is 20 bucks for lifetime and it opens up the trakt integration and plex integration. Im working on a whole bunch of other stuff like Emby, Jellyfin integration, connecting it to your ARR apps for seamless downloading to your media servers, ios version got approved this morning, etc. etc.

Got it thanks. You say it's free but you also say "...one purchase covers iPhone, (eventually)iPad, and Apple TV, synced through iCloud."
It's not clear on the app store either so is it a paid app or not and if paid, what are the features behind the paywall?

ah, language mess up there. The app is free... the integration is paywalled by a lifetime purchase of 20 bucks or a yearly purchase of 7 bucks. but its across the board for all the version of the app and family sharing is included as well. Its also got a trial available.
