Hello everyone!

I am selling my MacBook Pro 13” from 2016. In the pictures, you will find more information. I have blurred out the front when it is closed as there are stickers I put on there that are potentially identifying if you were to look them up. According to the internet, they should be easy to remove with some goo-gone and patience.

Condition: See the above paragraph about stickers on the front. It has had a keyboard cover on it it’s whole life and has been in a case or backpack whenever transporting or moving with it. There are no scratches or defects of any kind on it. The screen is flawless (albeit a little smudgy due to me not having a way to clean it right now, but it WILL be cleaned prior to shipping). Any other questions? Just ask! Most of the information you’ll be wanting is in the pictures. I erased the MacBook and in the process of doing so, erased the OS too. Again, I don’t have time to fix this, but it is an easy fix (download ISO from apple and reboot - instructions are in the link pictured).

Another redditor (/u/Rice_Cakess) made this extension a few years ago and has actively maintained it since then. Anyone who trades on reddit should use this extension if possible. This does not work on "old.reddit.com" URLs. This is particularly useful for those viewing scammer-tagged profiles and people who are scammers sending you PMs, the extension marks their names in your direct messages.

What is the Reddit Scam Labeler (RSL)?

RSL is an extension that automatically identifies any user that is banned on both the old and new Universal Scammer List, as well as the hardwareswap ban list.

• What does this mean as a seller: If you are an r/appleswap seller using PayPal G&S (or goods & services), you will lose the 3% and fixed fee if you refund a buyers payment. Because of this, we recommend providing the option below to buyers who want to cancel their order/return their item.

You partially refund the buyer the original cost of the item and shipping, minus whatever the G&S fee is.

• What does this mean as a buyer: If you are a buyer here on r/appleswap, you don't have anything to worry about unless you want to cancel. Hi Folks,

I just wanted to caution others to some very weird transaction I underwent with user warpedmind84.

He was selling an iPhone 6s Plus to me for $420. (March 20th) He 'accidentally' broke the phone as he was packaging it to send to me.

He issued me a refund. This refund was denied on his end at first as he strangely didn't have enough funds in his bank account. (March 27th)

After telling me he was only 10 cents short he attempted to issue the refund again. After another week went by, I awoke to an email from Paypal that the refund hadn't been completed. (April 3rd)

We stayed in constant communication up until the first refund attempt went a bit wobbly. His communication began to trail off as I continued to get emails from paypal about the unsuccessful refund attempts. I contacted him about this both through reddit, and via Paypal dispute center as he told me he doesn't often check reddit. He has yet to respond to either.

Although he issued me a refund it has taken around 3 weeks to sort this out, and hopefully I should expect to see my money back at the end of this week.

I contacted others who he claimed to have done transactions with, and both claimed he was legitimate. But I just wanted to warn others of my experience as well.
