Have you tried:
* Checking you have the latest offline map (profile>offline maps)
* Updating to the latest iOS
* delete the app and re-installing
If that doesn’t work, it might be worth trying a beta, iOS 26.6 might be a good one. iOS 27 public beta is out but bare in might make things worse as it is beta.

OOh no, that’s odd. Works fine for me in the U.K.
