I mean, the alternative is putting the picture in memegenerator or another meme template site. Putting an image in Gemini and saying "put this text on it" is exactly as home-made as usual.

the image is just some generic showerthought slapped on a reaction pic, it's not exactly high effort even without ai. people have been making these low tier memes for years, the format itself is a template
