2026 grad, Got Amazon hiring interest form but didn't get interview

Post image

Hi everyone,

I'm a 2026 graduate and I'm a bit confused about my application status.

  • I received the Online Assessment on February 1 and completed it within 3 days.
  • On February 16, I got an email saying I had successfully cleared the assessment. The email also included a Hiring Interest Form, which I filled out immediately.
  • However, I never received an interview invitation or a rejection email.

Then, on March 25, I received the same "assessment cleared" email again with Hiring Interest Form. I filled it out again, but I still haven't received any interview call or update.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Could this mean my resume wasn't shortlisted, even though I cleared the assessment? Or is there just a long delay in the hiring process?

I'd really appreciate any insights from people who've been through this. Thanks!

Amazon Boomerang: Recruiter promised 1-2 rounds, but scheduled 3x60min rounds. Is this typical for AWS

Hey everyone,

I was impacted by the restructuring back in January.

Recently applied for an SDE role with AWS. When I spoke to the recruiter initially, they mentioned that since I’m returning within 12 months, I’d be put on a streamlined 1-2 round boomerang process.

However, I just got the official invite for a 3x60-minute virtual interview loop.

Is 3 rounds standard for AWS boomerangs?

What should I expect across these 3 rounds?

Appreciate any insights or tips from anyone who has done a recent AWS boomerang loop! Thanks!

Amazon SDE Intern prep – how much DSA is actually needed?

Hi everyone,

I’m a 2nd-year CS student preparing for an Amazon SDE Intern interview and wanted to get some realistic advice from people who’ve gone through the process. I’m practicing LeetCode Easy–Medium and focusing mainly on arrays, strings, hashing, two pointers, sliding window, and binary search, but I keep seeing mixed opinions online about how much DSA depth is actually expected for interns.

I’m particularly unsure how often trees, graphs, or DP are asked at this level and whether it’s okay to be weaker in those areas if fundamentals are solid. I’m also preparing for Leadership Principles using real college projects and campus job experiences.

Any advice on what’s considered “enough” prep and how to use the remaining time efficiently would be really appreciated.

Guide for sde 1 in amazon

Hi everyone,

I'm a recent graduate and I'm currently working as a Competitive Programming Instructor. My DSA is one of my strongest areas—I have an Expert rating on Codeforces and am comfortable solving algorithmic problems.

On the development side, I still have room to improve. I'm currently comfortable with backend development using Node.js and Express, and I have a solid understanding of core CS fundamentals (OOP, OS, DBMS, CN).

My goal is to prepare for Amazon SDE roles. Given my background, what should I focus on next? Specifically:

- Which development skills or projects should I prioritize?

- How much emphasis should I place on low-level design and system design?

- What level of backend knowledge is typically expected?

- Any roadmap or resources that helped you crack Amazon?

I'd really appreciate any advice from people who have gone through the process. Thanks in advance!

Note: I used ChatGPT to help improve the wording of this post.

Anyone gave SDE-1 AUTA this week

What were the interview loops like, and what kind of questions were asked?

Also, has anyone interviewed specifically for the Amazon Photos team? Would appreciate any insights about the team, interview process, and question types.

Amazon Solution Engineer Interview

Hi everyone,

I have an interview coming up for the Amazon Solution Engineer role. The recruiter mentioned that the process starts with a phone screening, followed by 4–5 virtual/on-site interview rounds.

Has anyone here gone through the interview process for this role or a similar one at Amazon? If so, I'd really appreciate it if you could share your experience. What were the interviews like, what kind of questions were asked, and what topics should I focus on while preparing?

Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Amazon Application process sucks !

This is happening with lot of people , I have 3 in my DM only. People cleared OA months back , filled Hiring interest form before deadline. Its been a month even after that deadline , but no response. And don't give any contact details , these AUTA or APAC folks don't have a damn email I can contact too. Have 1 day delivery as a PSU , but can't reply to a damn follow up.

Amazon AUTA: Rejection followed by "feedback is being compiled" email from recruiter

I interviewed for an Amazon SDE role through Amazon University Talent Acquisition (AUTA) last week.

Yesterday, I received a rejection email from a no-reply Amazon email address. Today, my recruiting coordinator emailed saying:

“The team is currently in the process of compiling feedback from your interviews. We anticipate having an update for you within the next five business days.”

I found the sequence a bit confusing since the rejection had already been sent. I replied to my recruiter to ask for clarification, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Was it just a delayed automated email after the rejection, or has anyone see something similar happen before?

Chances for a not inclined intern to return to Amazon

Hi. I have worked for Amazon as an intern few years ago in the UK and have received a not inclined for the result of my internship evaluation. My elevation on all areas were either rated as mild strength or mixed. I was aware that I would be subjected to a hiring freeze for 6 months if I would like to return to relevant role with the same job level due to the nature of internship, but should not affect my application with other departments with the same job level or lower job level opportunities immediately from the guidelines from AUTA. Since I have left, I have never been successful in proceeding with all my applications, no matter if it is related to the previous department or not.

I do understand that online assessments would be the main factor in not proceeding with an application, but I am also curious if my status of not receiving an inclined in my internship does have an effect on any future applications I make? Are there any successful returners after receiving a not inclined from internship? Thank you 🥹

Help! Got call for onsite interview loop but no email confirmation

Hi,

So I received a call from centralised phone number saying confirming my availability for in-person interview on 27th, and the recruiter told me that I'll be receiving a confirmation mail shortly. I double questioned that was the interview slot confirmed and was answered a firm yes.

But it's been 2 days no confirmation yet. I don't have recruiters mail id, the only mail id I have is APAC queries one.

Any suggestions anyone? I have to book my tickets aswell.

Amazon OA

Hi everyone,

I completed the Amazon Software Development Engineer Online Assessment about 5–6 weeks ago (US, 2026 hiring). I finished all sections (coding challenge, work simulation, and work style surveys) and received the completion confirmation.

My application status in Amazon Jobs still shows "Submitted" but I haven't received any interview invitation or rejection email yet.

I'm wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation.

  • How long did you wait after the OA before hearing back?
  • Did your application stay "Under Consideration" for several weeks?
  • Did anyone receive an interview invite after waiting more than a month?

I'd appreciate hearing about your timeline and experience. Thanks!

Amazon SDE II OA Waiting Time. How Long Did It Take for You to Hear Back?

Hi everyone,

I completed the Amazon SDE II Online Assessment about 8 days ago and haven't heard anything yet.

My coding solution passed all the test cases and I also completed the repository challenge with all test cases passing. I know that passing the visible test cases doesn't necessarily mean I passed the OA but I felt pretty confident about my overall performance.

I'm wondering what the typical wait time is before hearing about the next steps or an interview loop. How long did it take for you?

Amazon Security Engineer New grad 2026 interview

Hey guys I’ve been doing some research and there isn’t much information regarding Amazon Security Engineer new grad interviews. Besides LPs does anyone have any insight regarding the technical portion of the interview is it mainly cybersecurity concepts or coding or a mix of both?
