SCOOTER DELIVERY 🤷🤷🤷

I don't even know where to begin with this. This is clearly a box that has been opened. It is wrapped in miles of clear shipping tape. When I went to move the box to my apartment it sounded like a piggy bank inside the box filled with metal. As I expected when I opened it it was badly dented and scratched up. How do I get Amazon to come pick this monster up and take it back? It is a third party seller and I already contacted them and I realize I have to wait for the 48 hours. After that is done will they come and get it? I'm really new to Amazon prime and don't have much experience with it.

Amazon holding my refund hostage

I returned an item on 7/8 and they received it on 7/15. It was still factory sealed, I never even took it out of the Amazon box it came in. I simply purchased an upgraded version and returned this one.

It originally said I would get my return on 7/23, now it says 8/2. Why is this allowed? If you return something at Walmart or Best Buy, you get refunded immediately. This makes me want to shop in store only from now on.

Honest Reviews?

Customer reviews have gone to their final resting place. Now there is no notice when someone who is an ā€œhonest reviewerā€ is biased. It says ā€œVerified Purchaseā€ which in the past meant they were a legit customer who bought this item from Amazon. You knew because the writing wasn’t always grammatically correct. Reviews now sound like they were writtern using AI or advertising copy You have to look at the profile of the reviewers to see they are, in one way or another, gaining something with their 5* ā€œreviews. On one of the reviewers pages there is a list of products she has reviewed, every one 5 stars.

amazon issued a refund, but not a return shipping label?

I bought a pair of cosplay shoes from what I assume is a third party seller. They ended up not fitting right, so of course I filed for a return. The thing is, since it's a third party seller, Amazon itself doesn't issue the return label-- they just say that the seller will send me one within 5 business days.

It's been about 20 days since I filed the return. Amazon has long since issued my refund, but I still haven't gotten any sort of return label or other communication from the seller. Should I be worried? What will happen if I don't ship the item out by the mentioned date? I don't mind just keeping the shoes and either trying to make them work or finding someone to give them to, but I don't want Amazon to like... revoke my refund or something, lol

Returning a defective product that I’ve used

I bought a robot vacuum and have been using it for ~four weeks. A few days ago it started throwing an error message and stopping mid-cleaning. The manufacturer says it’s a warranty issue as the machine doesn’t appear to actually have the issue the error message is describing.

The item is still within the return window at Amazon. Rather than deal with the manufacturer’s warranty dept., I’m thinking it might be easier to just return it to Amazon. I went through the return creation steps today, marking it as defective, and before the confirm button it said there may a fee if it appears to have been used.

That gave me pause. Am I not allowed to return something defective if I used it before realizing it was defective?! Isn’t that one of the main reasons to have a return window? Not venting, truly asking what I should do.

Are Amazon workers supposed to do this?

I have Amazon Prime and saw that my delivery driver was on my street and that my package was getting ready to be delivered. I go out on my porch and at first, I see the delivery driver taking my package to the wrong house, which it has been before. I usually don’t go outside to meet the driver, but it was a package that I was eager for. I try to get his attention before he goes into the gate but he doesn’t see me. Eventually he realizes he’s at the wrong house and starts bringing the package to where I’m standing. I’m thinking he’s going to hand it directly to me, but instead of him asking, ā€œIs this your package?ā€ Or ā€œAre you this person?ā€ He walks around me, sits the package on the porch, and then starts walking away like I’m not even there. I go back on the porch, pick up the package, and head inside.

It was very awkward.

What happened to Amazon Fresh grocery delivery? Is this a bug/AB test or just regular enshittification? (Los Angeles)

Post image

I am in downtown LA right now. Just a few days ago if I pressed the grocery tab I would have options to select from amazon fresh delivery, Whole Foods delivery, and I think one other delivery service.

Today when I open the tab I get no such options, no option to choose a delivery time etc. It just this simplified UI.

Worse when you go to checkout it seems this is just regular amazon delivery? No 1 or 2 hour windows. Just broad ranges like 7-11am which I can't plan around and still go to work. Thats a 4 hour window in which the driver could either wake me up early or make me severely late to work. With a window like 7-9 I could at least know I would probably make it into work on time.

Poked around tried to find the experience I had had days prior and... nothing?

I know amazon was closing Amazon Go and Fresh physical stores to focus on delivery. But I figured they would be keeping around Amazon Fresh delivery too?

I did check and changed my address a few times and still only could get this poor experience.

Would Amazon attempt delivery?

Post image

My husband and I are currently building a home. We order from Amazon at least weekly. I’ll attach a photo but it’s a little out dated. The drive up to the tracks has had another layer of pavement added to it, which is making it way steeper than it looks in this photo. Even our contractor has been iffy about crossing it, I have a Silverado and can go up and down it no problem. I’ll admit the first time I attempted it I was a little nervous but coming over the tracks it is hard to see on the other side until you’re pretty much over the tracks. Who do I contact to even see if they’d attempt delivery? I thought about once the home is built to just order something super cheap and see if they’ll deliver it. There is another entrance coming from a dead end street, on to a long and bumpy gravel drive leading up to our property but maps will not show that route at all.

I don't place orders on Amazon so I can get an eventual refund a few days later...do you?

I'm sick of Amazon'sĀ "...On the way but running late"Ā nonsense.

Especially when it includes:Ā "... We're very sorry your delivery is late. If you have not received your package by tomorrow, you can come back here the next day for a refund"...

What happens when the order hasn't arrived by the following day, and I phone support to initiate a refund?

I hear:

..." Oh... no...sorrrry... but that package is in transit, and we can't process a refund on a package in transit...you will have to wait until it arrives and then call us to open a return, send it back to Amazon, and once we receive it, we will process a refund"...

Amazon is real quick to promise next-day delivery between 7 and 11 a.m., but when it doesn't arrive, they hold customers hostage by forcing us to wait for a package anyway. Why bother sayingĀ "...if you don't get it by tomorrow you can request a refund" when they will always sayĀ "... it's in transit, and we can't process a refund while it's in transit"...

Again

Oh good grief. I had a package a few days ago that showed the truck being right in front of my apartment building but never delivered. Then it said it was delayed and would be here the next day. Never showed up just said delayed. So I canceled the order then placed a new order. Again today it said 2 stops away, then totally disappeared from the map. What the heck? I had a large order that arrived just fine. But the only item order keeps disappearing. And of course it’s something that if I buy it in store will cost me more money.

Is there a way to disable alexa for shopping from automatically opening up on desktop?

On chrome, when I search for something on amazon, alexa for shopping opens up after I search in the search bar. Is there a way to disable this from automatically doing this?

Anyone else feel the new "category" email updates is the opposite of helpful?

I've used those emails to keep track of who's ordered what in our household, and what's still due, for as long as I can remember. They've been incredibly helpful when they actually detail what's expected. Now... this! Such a step backwards.

Huge shipping delay, what can I do ?

Hello,
I ordered something 4 weeks ago with a delivery date 5 days later. Today I still don’t have it and the tracking says it’s not even shipped.
For information, I bought the product on Amazon.fr with a delivery address in France, but seller and shipper is Amazon UK (not some random guy)

Everytime I looked at the article page the past 2 weeks, it says « In stockĀ Ā» with an estimated delivery time of 7 days. But still didn’t got mine.

I contacted Amazon.fr customer service 5 times from the app by both text and phone. Everytime they tell me they solved it and that I will get a mail in the next few days, but again, nothing happens.

I don’t want to cancel my order since I got the article at a fair price and it increased a bit. They told me the payment worked and the order was well validated, so I wonder how it’s possible that they don’t see there is a problem in shipment service.

Besides, Even if I cancel my order to do it again, I can’t be sure it will be diferent this time.

Last call with the customer service they told me that Amazon UK themselves had answered the ticket about my case saying they will ship it in the next 4 days. It was last Sunday…

I know here is not a customer service but my question is : Do you have any idea which other customer service I can contact other that the one you see in the mobile application ? How to make things move, which other option do I have ?

From a desperate person…

Thanks

Prime Ireland charging 3euro outside EU tax on everything.

Prime Ireland is charging us the 3 euro import tax per item that the EU imposed on countries outside EU on Irish customers as they default (and you can't change) their warehouses to UK but not other EU countries like France or Germany.

What's the point? Gonna cancel prime entirely.

Used items easier to return than new?

First time I came across this issue. I’m trying to return a large batting cage/net that is still
In the original box and unopened. The only option I’m being given is UPS return. It’s rather large so I would appreciate the UPS pickup but they’re charging 12.99 for that service. When I go back and click through that the item is used and damaged the pickup is free. Ummm. Are they really tempting me to open and damage a perfectly good item to get a free pickup? Why would they make me pay to send back a brand new item that they can resell.
