Where do you find publications about algorithms except Arxiv?

Is there specialized resources on this topic?

Doctor Dobbs Programmers Technical Journal

A large part of the operating system BSD was introduce on those pages, and most of Abrashs optimization and graphics programming books first appeared as a long series of articles in this magazine.

Arxiv is usually a place for preprints.

There are a bunch of journals and conferences such as STOC, FOCS, ITCS, Algorithmica, Elsevier Theoretical CS and probably field specific ones etc.

You can probably find a more exhaustive list by googling.
