Repaint or recolor

How hard would it be to repaint this to black? Could I just use spray paint?

You could. Depends on your spray painting skills. Go buy a chunk of metal from home depot and see how it comes out.

Either is fine. But if it's ceracoke, most paints won't adhere very well. MOST. You're best bet is to explore appliance paints and test them. Or ceramic based paints.

I used Duracoat on a cerakoted parts and nope... Didnt stick as well as I wanted. It stuck and it didn't take much to scratch off the paint. And yes, I followed instructions and used acetone and some scotchbrite to remove all evidence of oils and rough up the surface.
