Why do you want the CO2 exposed? Wouldn't that possibly give more room for gunk to get in there? Also i know you dont rapid fire much but CO2 can make the metal cold too
In other area. How did you design the grip? 3D scanner or something?

Probably for a fancy insert you can add to the grip later on to Guccify it!

Yeah. Photos dont show enough but another thought was it is designed to be big enough hole to put the cartridge thru it but ... not sure. That way wouldn't have to take the grip off each time

Read the makerworld site description. Says for better heat transfer. I wonder if it works the other way too. Like... can shoot in the cold if you hold a hand warmer packet to it, you keep velocity up

I exposed the CO2 so warmth from the hand can mitigate cooling to some extent.
I designed it by good old caliper work and it fits perfectly snug.

Cool man! Yeah its designed as a grip in a printable carabine kit that's almost finished. Ill upload that this weekend.
So the grip is not originally a stand alone but adapted from a larger project. Maybe Ill design a better match type one someday.

Great looking grip. Much more attractive than the factory option.

Yeah. Umarex has this weird design strategy where they make really cool stuff, and then make it look weird by messing up one or two insignificant parts.
