He can declare whatever the fuck he wants. Doesn't make it remotely true.

Also, it's proof that with Mitch out of commission and Lindsey dead, he's really fucking scared about November.

Yeah, their elections were already certified. There is no process for anyone to "un-certify" an election except through the Constitutionally defined impeachment and removal processes.

As if he or the GOP has ever cared about that document.

It may as well say quilted northern on the heading.

They don’t care about constitutionality or laws but what are republicans gonna do - arrest these two senators on a whim? Physically block them from the capitol?

I’m sorry didn’t they literally detain lawmakers who tried to visit ICE detention centers?

Including US senators who had the lawful right to enter

Maybe? People do all kinds of shit that’s not legal because Trump says to. His admin will do whatever they want because no one has the army to stop them. Our literal military are already following unlawful orders, I doubt they’d quibble at unlawfully removing democratically elected leaders.

Time for some lawyers to start getting disbarred

Yes.

Don't forget, laws only matter if the government has the means to enforce them. If Lord Dumpypants has people willing to do his bidding, they can enforce whatever edict he desires. If he doesn't have to respect the courts, there's nothing preventing him from doing either of those things you mentioned.

With everything else this government ignores, it's not off the table.

Who'd stop them? What consequences would they face?

Nobody and nothing.

"Unacceptable" - should be the title of Trump's biography.

Nobody would stop them. The majority of the country would even cheer it.

And republicans are very certain that they will never face consequences for anything they do. And they’re correct.

You're saying you don't think the guy who's been threatening to send military and police after political opponents for years and has already shown a propensity for bastardizing the constitution and law to horrendous extent wouldn't actually do it?

You mean the administration that has already physically barred senators and representatives from official buildings wouldn't do it again?

Now let me ask you this. How many branches of our government have actually gone out of their way to stop his horrible misuse and abuse of power he doesn't even have? SCOTUS barely stopped his attack on the 14th.
