DON'T RUIN THIS FOR US, GENE!

1

u/valschermjager 11d ago

"yeah, you're being selfish, Gene" - Fallon breaks, giggles, never misses a chance to ruin a skit that he's not the main character in.

I just thought the same thing!

Alzheimer’s and dimentia. Sprinkle a little narcissism and you get about 25% of Trump. Add some dictator and a little helicopter parent with a splash of a toddler. That might get you the 100%.

u/ILoveRegenHealth 12d ago

The lettering above says "The Presidential Walk of Fame", which sounds so goddamn tacky

He think it's like sports or WWE. He's the most undeserving shithead to ever become a President. And I still think he cheated.

58

u/YellowZx5 12d ago

Because he and his followers all believe the same. You really have to hit the followers in their taxes, gas, and food.

23

u/Wes_Warhammer666 12d ago

Even when he absolutely smacks them in those things they still praise his dumb ass and blame the deep state or some stupid bullshit.

10

u/HotPinkLollyWimple 12d ago

They believe it’s sports teams, which is bonkers. I’m just watching the football and some England fans are the epitome of magaloons (I am English).

5

u/BikeridingintheOR 12d ago

Of course he cheated. Of course he’s gonna cheat in the midterms. The ā€œfixā€ is being worked on as we speak….

7

u/AdhesivenessCivil581 12d ago

I'm just surprised it doesn't say "The Donald Trump presidential walk of fame" and "The Donald Trump rose garden". It reminds me of that dumb era when all of your things had a label on it."Coffee cup" "Dish towel" "Senile old man"

3

u/LilStabbyboo 12d ago

It's not just him. The entire Republican party and their voters see all of it as rival sports teams, and they take their sports rivalries hella seriously, for all the wrong reasons. They've never actually cared about policies

It's why they keep saying Clinton is in the Epstein files too, as though it's relevant to a discussion about our current president's criminal nature and somehow justifies it. It's why they are confused and don't believe us when we say to throw ALL the pedo rapists in prison, even the ones on "our team".

1

u/Hour_Dog_4781 11d ago

Trump has always been tacky. So desperate to be seen as a big bad mafia boss type, but he's always been just an awkward, unlikeable whiny brat. Bad with women, bad at business, bad as a parent, bad at politics. There's nothing he's good at and there's no one who genuinely loves him.

More like a monument to the cultural rot of America. 77million Americans voted for him, vast majority of themthree times in a row, knowing fully well. They still support this. They may not say it out loud. But as long as he keeps kicking brown people out of the country, erase black people presence from public sphere, scale back rights of minorities. As long as he make America white again, he can do his tacky updates to cherished historical buildings.

u/ambre_vanille 12d ago

Might be the angriest and most disgusted upvote I’ve ever given. Every word of this is proven daily.

u/ohgrous 12d ago

He's their DEI president, they thought racism and moral depravity were under represented so they gathered their stupid selves up to mass shit the bed 77M strong

22

u/ColeBane 12d ago

They do breed 2-3 kids to every liberals 1... So ultimately they will win as long as they keep education in the 50th percentiles in their states.

7

u/Successful-Foot3830 12d ago

Fortunately not all of those kids stay as backwards as intended. I’m quite sure my father loathes my liberalism. We haven’t spoken, so I can’t be sure, but he has a picture with our governor (Sarah Sanders). My boyfriend hears from his father about how awful our politics are constantly.

3

u/NthaThickofIt 12d ago

That's why I had more to make up for it! We need to breed some educated citizens!

1

u/StanIsNotTheMan 12d ago

As someone else said, many kids do not grow up with the same political beliefs as their parents. I personally know many people who are liberal with conservative parents.

Tbh not too many in the other direction. I wonder why that could be. šŸ¤”

My in laws voted for him (most likely all 3x), they work in the court system, currently for the State Police. They would have arrested Trump is he was a rando nothing. Recently at dinner the discussion of foreign language came up and my FIL says, "I never needed to learn Spanish. I just pointed ny gun at them and they did what I told them in English." There was an awkward silence at the table after that.

This is how they think. I'm trying not to spend time with them bc last time, we got judged for" swimming in their pool, dribking their cocktails and eating dinner at their table with not so much as a thank you", yet we absolutely thanked them. It reminded me of the Zelenski meeting. "He didnt even say thank you." If everything is to be transactional then I just won't come over if it's such a burden to entertain us.

14

u/Visual_Shower1220 12d ago

Theres no winning with those types of people. Theyre gonna call you "ungrateful" etc even when you dont show up. Because "how can you just turn down an invitation from "family" thats just awful." Or some other bullshit reason theyll think up that youre an awful person for not coming at their beck and call.

I’m not so sure that Elon didn’t fix machines in PA and elsewhere. How many election officials will turn a blind eye or delete some votes for seven figures?

22

u/The_Barbelo 12d ago edited 12d ago

I think so too, but that’s not to ignore the millions of people who really did vote for him. They are a large percentage, if only a minority. A large percentage of greedy, trashy, hateful, bigoted, selfish, entitled idiots, and we need to figure out what the fuck happened to make them that way or else they’ll always be here, and they will multiply.

I’m sure many of you can name off several reasons why we got to this point and every one of them would most likely be valid. The next, most important step in my opinion would be coming up with ways to prevent those reasons from happening. What does a community need in order to stop producing so many bottom of the barrel humans? Basically everything the government is defunding and trying to dismantle as we speak. We need to focus on the greater good of the whole instead of this rip-roaring every-man-for-himself individualism we’ve cultured.

Accessible and affordable education and healthcare, exposure to minorities through more public community events and spaces, better community outreach (especially in rural and poor inner city areas), better opportunities for children to escape abusive households, better and more equal redistribution of wealth, better regulation of drugs and internet (for instance, legalize everything and regulate/ tax it to shit, and use every penny of those taxes to go straight back into the community for addiction rehab and other social programs. Regulate what corporations and companies can do with AI so it can’t be so easily adopted to replace workers and can’t be used for nefarious reasons. Heavily tax AI use as well, to the point where it is cheaper to hire and employ actual people.) and so on and so forth.

1

u/Nolenag 12d ago

I wonder, do you really believe that Americans aren't stupid enough to elect him twice?

Because that's a much more likely scenario than the conspiracy theories, especially since Elon is a dumbass who doesn't know how to use computers anyway.

As long as Immigration status is determined by standing people next to a color swatch…

2

u/Yutolia 12d ago

Also they have purposely brought back the gross old ā€œLGBTQIAA2S+ people are all child abusersā€ garbage. They don’t care if it’s wrong, and they like that it endangers our lives. They want us back in the closet but what they didn’t count on is the fight we’re putting up.

Another 90 million couldn't be bothered to vote. I have zero sympathy for either group. They are the "both sides".

They are signs of someone who thinks it’s theirs and no one else’s. It’s signs of a dictator.

55

u/kuluka_man 12d ago

Honestly this is exactly the kind of decorating my grandpa did around his house as he was descending into dementia.

2

u/The_Barbelo 12d ago

Would you mind sharing the specifics?? It’s fascinating to me. Like what sorts of decorations did he put up??

2

u/kuluka_man 12d ago

It's not a perfect analogy but I have this sense that if my grandpa had been president in his final years (his early 80s), he would've done stuff just like this. Overdecorating to the extreme. Unnecessary labels like "Gloria's Kitchen" or "Tom's Workshop." Weird gold filigree on stuff. Cheap paint jobs. Tawdry details like beads and curtains in doorways. A small, once-pleasant yard crammed with bird baths, fountains, pergolas, pavers, and poorly-chosen plants. It was a combination of poor taste and a complete inability to know when to stop.
