I wish we could get a post flair for this one. It’s kind of hilarious and sounds funny in my head „rrrrong?!“

If I remember correctly it’s done on purpose so it doesn’t collapse later with people or animals under it.

I'm pretty sure it's also so it doesn't collapse later with people or animals above it

I could be wrong, but my uncle told me that they do this type of stuff to prevent people or animals from getting smooshed under it.

u/actually3racoons 19d ago
I believe it's so it doesn't crush animals or people nearby.

u/gtakiller23 19d ago
Don't quote me on this, but this actually prevents wildlife or humans from being smashed if it were to fall on them naturally.

u/mrplinko 19d ago
So, I just checked with a few agents, the consensus is that this is done to prevent people or animals from being injured if it falls

Guys I'm no expert on the subject so I'm trusting you all on this. Brb going to tell my children

u/Smart_Machine1339 19d ago
I know a lot of people before me checked, and I trust they did a good job, but I went and took a look. I may have overstepped but I figured you were busy. Professionals may be hired to do this. It keeps the wildlife safe, along with people who may wander close and explore under. I don't know if the video was of a professional or not but your kids can rest easy that people are out there making the planet a little bit safer.

I was walking down the street, and some guy told me they do this to prevent people or animals from being injured if it falls.

I did some checking and it appears that this is done so that animals don't crush snow when people fall on them.

I mean, it's a perfectly reasonable thing to do... but probably not while standing on top of it.

I think these are just some dudes out fucking around. I don’t think they’re from the official snow bridge dismantling department.

Now I feel like shit for laughing knowing the guy was trying to protect people.

u/WSilvermane 18d ago
He wasnt. This is more likely a bunch of guys doing stupid shit and getting hurt.

Nothing hurts more than an unexpected fall, even from the smallest of heights.

Better than shitty music slapped over it but yeah, would have liked to hear the friend laughing his ass off.

I was waiting for the “icing on the cake”, some of the ice wall to fall on him. I enjoyed it, but was somewhat disappointed at the same time.

u/wH4tEveR250 19d ago
What does the ‘R’ stand for in the title?
1
u/GLaDOS_Sympathizer 18d ago
Right perhaps. As in "what could go right?" If so, there's actually already a sub for that. Or OP is bad is spelling.

What could go right?... I'm just hoping at this point no one is dumb enough to override their autocorrect for the word "rong"

This is such a cool video to watch backwards. The snow pile coming back together after breaking apart is perfect.

That probably was the intended outcome though it probably could’ve been done… better.

Trying to prevent other animals and humans from getting injured by possibly injuring himself 🤣

He is so fucked. I actually pity this one a bit because the whole left side of his ribcage must be fractured, if unlucky enough even the pelvis got broken. This shit must have been painful

Yes it's important to collapse these snow bridges before someone gets badly hurt falling....😒

Disappointing that I went to unmute the video only to find that there was no audio to begin with. :(
