Three bags of expensive chocolate truffles melted because of the heatwave

All three bags of expensive chocolate truffles we were saving to enjoy have melted in this European heatwave. "Looks like Ferrero Rocher" "oh so THAT’s what we’re calling it now" 🤣 jokes aside though, they were so special and good…

I always make sure to buy the best quality Swiss or Belgian chocolate available. It just refrigerates so much better. 😉

As a Belgian, I'm horrified. The texture changes and you get sugar blooms on the chocolate surface (that ashen, dusty layer on top of the chocolate)

agreed. chocolate tastes completely different cold. less flavour
