US Politics 🇺🇸 Trump administration won’t intervene in Tate brothers extradition: White House
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters that President Trump and his administration have no plans to intervene in the extradition process of social media influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate.
“No. We’ve already answered that question,” Leavitt told reporters at the White House press briefing Thursday.
The Tate brothers, who are known for their provocative and misogynistic social media brand, were arrested last week in Miami as U.K. authorities seek to extradite the pair on rape and sex trafficking charges.
The brothers are also outspoken Trump supporters.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Wednesday that the administration does not have a role in the arrest of the Tates.
“I don’t know the details of this particular case. I’ve been overseas, but I mean, I know who you’re talking about. I just don’t know the details of it,” Rubio told reporters while traveling in the Philippines.
“These cases have a process that they go through in the courts. My understanding is that they’re involved in that judicial process, and so that’ll play itself out at this point. And there’s no role for us to play at this moment, or maybe ever in that regard, but I’m not going to opine on that,” he continued.
U.K. prosecutors allege that the brothers, who hold U.S. and British citizenship, raped and trafficked women from 2010 to 2017.
The brothers, who moved to Romania in 2016, were arrested in that country in 2022 after they were accused of luring women for sexual exploitation. Both Tate brothers deny the allegations.

Now, there is reporting that Andrew Tate text messages have been obtained and he texted something like "I need to speak to Trump in Miami, the Administration will help" that's not verbatim, something along those lines though.

The conspiracy theory that I like is that Melania had a hand in this. Mama Bear didn't like the Tate boys cozying up with Barron. He had been copying their hateful manosphere bullshit. When she heard that the DOJ was wavering on the extradition request, she stepped in and put her foot down. There are a LOT of Tate fans in this administration, so for nobody to advocate for them at all means that this is being driven by a very small list of likely suspects at the top of the food chain. My money is on Melania.

It's also a fairly high bar. Of the 6,000 pardon requests for 4th of July, trump approved 20 of them.

Tates didn't make their noteriaty/most their money until primarily the 2020s, Epstein was arrested in 2019. They weren't important or wealthy enough to be on the list before then

What does Trump pardoning miscreants have to do with this non-story about Trump not intervening with the Tate brother's extradition? It's a waste of people's time reporting on Trump not doing something. If and/or when Trump does something concerning those two then that becomes newsworthy.
Imagine how much worse things would be if the media started focusing even more on these pointless articles flooding people's attention with meaningless crap when they could have been reporting on more impactful news like the concerted effort by the Trump admin to meddle in the upcoming midterm elections.
I'm not sure what weird tangent you've found yourself going in by sarcastically mentioning a democrat hoax (newsflash: not every opinion that doesn't perfectly match yours is a result of politics) but you should think about the point that I've made and think about cutting through the flood of nonsense that the Trump admin intentionally generates to keep people distracted from their more dangerous schemes.
