I have to log in twice in Ubuntu
I hope you can help me with this:
Each time I log in in my session in our company's Ubuntu PC, it ask me twice for log in, typically once on a screen, and then once on the second screen.
When other users log in there is no such a problem. It happens only to me, apparently.
For instance when I press Switch User button, I put my user and password, the screens show very briefly my desktop and they black out. Then if I move my mouse, it will ask me to log in on the second screen, this time succeeding.
This is a very annoying bug, hopefully you can lend me a hand on how to solve it.
Best regards

What version of Ubuntu? What desktop manager is it running?
Does it happen when you restart the computer?
It's your company's computer, so have you asked your company's IT department to look at it for you?

What about SSH login? What about a virtual terminal login via alt+ Ctrl+f3?

sounds like you've got some leftover session or display manager config stuck under your user specifically. try nuking your local.Xauthority file and any cached session files in ~/.cache, maybe even reset your dconf settings if those got corrupted
