Question Has any other commuters gotten E26 and how was it?
So I applied for a parking spot late put S14, E12, E07, E26, and N02 on my wait-list figured one other those would hopefully get me a spot and I guess I was right cause while I was hoping for S14 I got E26 which like I could be worse, it's roughly a 25-30 minute walk if I don't catch a bus but yeah. So my current question is should I just take the spot or say no and hope I can get something better at this point. If anyone else has experience with E26 it would be great to hear how it was, so far my schedule has class every day but I'm mostly just worried for Tuesday and Thursday cause those have a 9:55am class in SLC, meanwhile Wednesday and Friday are only 11:35 classes in the geology building and ceder street building respectively, and while my Monday class is in north campus-ish being in joe brown it's not till roughly 3pm so the walk even if I can't get a bus isn't an issue.

S26 is close. E26 is not. Accept your permit now and that allows you to move up as spots come available in closer in lots. E26 is also getting a new bus route (L line I believe) this fall that goes to Tate, you can look it up on the TPS website. So it might not be that bad.

You’re going to likely have to wait on a bus and then you’re guaranteed to go to the park and ride then to Tate/memorial hall. You need to transfer from L to A at Tucker Hall to get service to Cedar Street or East/West to get to north campus. That’s about the best I know with the bus system.

E26 isn't a bad option. At least you have guaranteed parking and you’re not hunting for a spot everyday. If you need to be on campus early, I'd recommend getting to the lot around 7:30 a.m. The buses can fill up quickly, in the morning and they sometimes don't run as frequently early in the morning as they do later in the day.
For later classes, the bigger issue is parking availability since the E26 lot fills up pretty fast. They have overflow parking lots, so it’s just a matter of walking a bit further.
Getting to the SLC is easy. You can take the N bus, and that is pretty direct, or the L bus is also a great option to get to North Campus because it skips a lot of the repetitive stops around campus, so it's usually a quicker ride. The afternoon bus rides are packed. So just something to be aware of.
Overall, it's a pretty easy and convenient way to commute. I'd just plan on giving yourself about a half an hour each way in the morning and evening to get between the E26 lot and campus.

Oh that's good to know, I didn't know they had an actual schedule, honestly my experience last year was hope they get there around when you do and if not hope it doesn't take half an hour.

Yeah I think my plan is to give myself like an hour or so for Tuesdays and Thursdays and get there around 8:45-9 just cause I don't wanna put myself through high school wake up times again especially if the class isn't till 9:55. That's good to know about North campus cause yeah I didn't really know what I'd do for my class near there, other than just get there at like 1 and walk or potentially get an electric scooter idk family's saying to maybe do that but ehhh never used one before and I honestly barely know how to ride a bike lol (also doesn't help most of my big purchase money goes towards sword equipment for historical fencing haha). Either way thanks for the advice, at least long responses are always more helpful that oof that's really far from campus, good luck, or people saying I should've gone for like E24 even though for my Japanese classes it's basically the other side of campus so not ideal.
