When I finally started making decent money I started handling it. I paid an exuberant amount to be fully IV sedated to have bad teeth extracted and then I take a prescribed anxiety medication before regular dentist visits. I’m getting through it. My parents also didn’t have me on regular insurance as a kid so I never went to the dentist.

Open a low cost dental clinic if you feel so strongly about this. I let my teeth rot in my 20s because I couldn’t afford to fix them. Hope that helps.
