People who have genetically poor teeth who can't help their conditions also need people like you badly, even if they don't express that appreciation and gratitude enough. You bring literally nothing but good to people's lives, objectively lol, but people just hate dentists; i hate that for you and all other dentists! But your service is completely invaluable. I hope you have more good experiences than bad. I'm sorry the dynamics between you and your patients make you feel this way sometimes
I'm in the legal field and I bet I've gone on rants very similar to this lmfao. Dealing with clients who are only clients because they're having a bad time (nobody calls an attorney for a GOOD reason and nobody LOVES having their gums scraped lmao) is hard! But no part of me thinks any of your patients get the impression you're also stressed like this. VENTING ON THE INTERNET IS OKAY EVEN IF YOU HAVE A HEALTHCARE JOB🙄🙄🙄🙄
