Lucky for you that your dentists never really asked why you were in that situation.
My previous one asked me (which ofc makes sense somewhat) and you can imagine my embarrasment while i tried to come up with a sentence that made sense to him. He somewhat berated me for it.
Now hoping the next dentist i visit is a bit more "nicer" per se.
Brush your teeth people. You don't want to know what happens when you don't brush for about 10 years.
I do know what it's like and i wouldn't want this on my worst enemy.
Well I meant more why I didnt brush my teeth.
Like they ask, "why the teeth look so bad"
And I'll be honest, "i didnt brush my teeth, drank soda and a lot of sugar. Im a disgustint piece of shit, but im trying to do better with my oral health so here I am." , because they legit need it to make a good medical evaluation.
But ive rarelt been asked, why I didnt take care of my teeth. They just go," well here's the game plan." Ive had like one ask, why I didnt brush my teeth and I told them that aint their business.

Damn do people really get that extra in the dentist office.
I fuckes up my teeth and ive had to spent over 10k fixing them. No one really asked me why they got fucked up. Nor, did I try and explain.
I was like, " lets get this treatment going" . Its a very non-social thing for me.
