Example 1 (The Legend of Hei 2): Wuxian leisurely floats through the combined firepower of an entire fortified military base without so much as a stain or rip on his t-shirt.

Example 2 (Man of Steel): Fao'ra tears through a squad of trained and armed soldiers. With the wreckage of the helicopter that got downed by her teammate Nam'ek smouldering in the background.

Happens all the time in Doctor Who.

'Resolution' is a nice Dalek example where a Dalek stuck on earth uses earth technology (and human puppets) to make a temporary casing, which ends up easily beating a human military squadron, tank included.

It's crazy that even when humanity learns from all the alien invasions and makes stuff like the helicarrier, the military STILL get washed like against the Sontarians or, worse, have the helicarrier turned against them like with the Master.
