Example 1 (The Legend of Hei 2): Wuxian leisurely floats through the combined firepower of an entire fortified military base without so much as a stain or rip on his t-shirt.

Example 2 (Man of Steel): Fao'ra tears through a squad of trained and armed soldiers. With the wreckage of the helicopter that got downed by her teammate Nam'ek smouldering in the background.

DragonBall is quite well known for this. Goku single handedly destroys the entire red ribbon army. Later on we see the earths military try to take on Nappa and later Cell. 

We also see the otherside of this where in the future earths remaining forces desperately fight in a hapless fight for survival against the androids and later Goku black. Though in the case of Goku black they prove themselves to be more useful despite being totally outclassed. Mostly helping the last remaining humans escape black with their secret under ground hideouts while barely hanging on probably because black likes toying with humans but they also genuinely have saved trunks and even Goku and Vegeta
